So this week was a pretty exciting week. The beginning of our week we went to another part of our district for pday because we were going to be spending Monday night and Tuesday helping the elders out in their area. That was great and we got to help them out and see how they were doing. Then the rest of the week was extremely productive. We have been having trouble finding new investigators in such a small town but this week we were blessed to find 9 new people to teach. We did get a little help from the zone leaders on Friday because they came down to go on exchanges with us and that helped out. Next week is going to be so busy with General Conference and all our appointments and we have to go to some baptismal interviews that we don't really have any open hours next week. It is so nice to have enough people to see and things to do that you don't have to worry about filling big blocks of time with something to do. This week we got to set a baptismal date with a guy named David. Elder Summers and one of the zone leaders met him while they were together on Friday and we went back to see him on Saturday. He is way cool and was very open to reading the Book of Mormon. What is way cool is that we went and gave a lady in our ward a blessing last night and we were telling her about what we had been doing last week and she happened to be a family friend of David's family. She said that out of anybody that she knew that would be willing to listen she would have thought him to be the least likely person. Its amazing to see that people can go from being someone like that to all of a sudden being open to start learning about the church. Things are going great here and I look forward to a crazy busy week next week.

This week wasn't a extremely productive week but some cool things happened. First of all I forgot to tell you that last Sunday I got to confirm the most prepared investigator I have ever met. The sisters in our ward were teaching her and she asked me to confirm her. She saw the sisters walking down the street and just told them that they needed to start teaching her and she was baptized two weeks later. She had like 20 nonmember friends at her baptism and she is already doing missionary work. That was pretty cool. This week we also got to start teaching a relative of two of our recent converts. When I first got to this area we baptized a girl named Amanda. We baptized her a week late because the day of her baptism her cousins son got in a bike wreck and fractured his skull. He had to got to the hospital in Atlanta and the whole family went with him. We got the Elders up there to give him a blessings and they felt the spirit really strong. So Courtney (the mom) invited us to start teaching her and she is way cool. She works nights so its kind of hard to catch her but once we get a good schedule down we will be able to set a baptismal date with her. That was the highlight of the week. On Thursday Elder Summers had to go to a leader meeting in Atlanta so I went to a different area with another district leaders companion so we didn't work in our area at all on Thursday. Then Saturday and Sunday was conference which kept us busy. But we learned a lot from all the talks and are excited to get out and find people next week.
