Hello. This week was a pretty slow week as far as teaching investigators. All of them are hard to get in contact with so we can never set up solid appointments with them. We spent time going to members houses to set up the best times to teach members in their homes. That went well and they are all willing to help. That will be good as soon as we can get some good people to take to their houses. Besides that nothing very eventful happened. We will probably spend a lot of time this week trying to find better people to teach.
(His responses to all my questions) I haven't sent anything yet(letters), but I will as soon as I have time. We are busy all the time because Elder Summers is the district leader.. I got your package, thank you. I liked all the ties and the food. It actually saved me because I ran out of money really quick this month for some reason because that usually doesn't happen. Just leave the mission home address that would be best. I did see the new temple movie. We were actually the first people in Georgia to see it. Our church is at 10 and our ward is really small, but it is alright. Elder Summers is still awesome and leaves in November. I have a minute left so I have to send this. Talk to you next week.

So this week was a pretty normal week nothing too exciting happened. We have a couple people we are teaching but its hard to get them to church so not really anybody with a baptismal date right now. We stay pretty busy and talk to a lot of people everyday. Its just hard to stay in contact with people because nobody ever has a cell phone that works and nobody has a car to get themselves to church. So we just spend a lot of time trying to find them home, but even without cars they manage to be gone all the time. But it's still going well and we are just trying to get people prepared to accept baptismal dates and really commit to coming to church. Overall its going really well here. Our stake has the highest amount of lessons taught in a members home in the whole united states. That is the big thing we are working on because statistics show that investigators taught in peoples homes are way more likely to get baptized so we are just trying to use the members as much as possible.

So this week was pretty awesome because we got to baptize two people. We baptized a girl named Amanda on Thursday. Her mom was baptized at the beginning of August and she finally decided to get baptized. Since I just barely got here I didn't really get to teach her anything but it was still cool. Then on Saturday we baptized a girl named Rachel. I got to teach her a little bit and she is pretty good. Sadly she is moving to Connecticut on Wednesday because her husband is in the Navy, but hopefully she stays strong in the church there. We are also teaching a cool guy with dreadlocks named Jermaine who has a baptismal date for September 28. If we can get him to church I think it will happen. We also have another date for a lady named Sherri. Hers is on October 6, I think. She is a cool lady and really wants to be baptized she just works nights so she is always really tired and won't come to church. But if we can get both of them there we should have two solid baptismal dates. Thats about it. After baptizing two people we need to fill in their place with more good people to teach so we will probably be out walking around a lot next week. But things are going well here and big things are happening in this area.
Hey mom I'm not sure what we are doing today. I know Elder Summers is going to cut my hair for me because we are going to the temple on thursday. Then we might go play tennis. I have had some peaches but not that many(I asked him about the Georgia peaches). It sounds like the farewell was awesome, dad said it was good too. he will do great (Max's friend Connor Hutchinson). Me and Summers had already figured out he knew Mindy and we think we may have met each other at Masons house one time a long time ago which is really weird. Jacks story is really funny, that kid is crazy(he brought a new friend home from kindergarten). That tubing thing sounds nuts(tubing on the Provo river during the flash flood). I kind of enjoy stuff like that though so I feel like it might have been kinda fun. I'll write about the week and a package would be cool. I'lll write some letters today hopefully. I was also wondering if you could paypal me some money for a razor because that old one has seen better days.
