Hello. So this week was pretty cool. On Tuesday we were able to go and teach a referral we got from the Spanish Elders. His name is Michael. He was pretty open and we will go back and see him again this week. We were also able to go see the lady that yelled out her car window at us and she is pretty open to listening to us. She was sick this week but we are trying to see her this week. We are still working with Ed and he has a baptismal date but he just needs to stop smoking which he is having a hard time with. We also taught the Foster family who really enjoyed having us over and want us to come back and they want to come to church. On Sunday we got to go on exchanges with the traveling AP's and my companion and one of the AP's was able to set a baptismal date with a guy named Ryan. Hopefully I will get to meet him in the near future. That was about it for this week.

This week was pretty awesome. It was the first week I've had that we were so busy that we didn't tract one time the whole week. We just had appointments from the time we left till we got in at night. We went to the bishop's house for dinner for the first time in 7 months. We got a lot of stuff accomplished and I think he is more on board to help us now. We also got to go and teach the Owens family that was a referral from the Spanish Elders. They were super awesome and when we talked about the first vision Brother Owens started crying and said that he felt like Joseph Smith. We are meeting with them today and will hopefully have a baptismal date with them when we leave. Things are going well and training is going good but hopefully I'll get to go experience a new area soon. Thats was about it for this week.

This week was alright not quite as exciting as last week. We spent a lot of time trying to go see people that said they would be there but weren't and thats never fun. Our most promising investigator right now is Dorsey. She has been taught all the lessons and says that she wants to get baptized. We just can't get her to come to church because she likes her church and she knows that our church won't have enough dancing and clapping and yelling. So we are trying to get her over that. I found out that I am being transferred on Wednesday after seven and a half months in the same area. I still won't have a car so the mission president must thing I'm getting fat. Things are going well here. I'm scared to pack up because I have accumulated a lot of junk in the past seven months so hopefully I can fit it all.
So this was a very good week. The beginning of the week I spent saying some goodbyes to investigators and members in my old ward. It was sad to see them go but hopefully I will be able to stay in contact with them. Then Wednesday was transfer meeting. I got transferred to Thomaston, Ga which is in the middle of nowhere which was a big change from spending 7 months in Atlanta. But it is very nice out here. They are also baptizing people like crazy out here. There are 5 sets of missionaries in our ward. It is a good change from the work that moves kind of slowly in Atlanta. My new companions name is Elder Summers and he goes home in about three months so he has been out awhile and knows whats going on. We have three investigators with a date they are Amanda, Rachel, and Sherry. Actually 4. We got one with Jermaine yesterday. I don't have a ton of time to talk about them but you will hear more about them as they progress. Thats about it for this week but expect a lot more next week.
Yep I'm in the middle of nowhere. About as south as you can get. It's very weird because the areas are huge here because nobody lives close together. We actually live in a foursome and have a car so we get a car every other day and walk the off days. my companion is Elder Summers and he's cool. He goes home in three months and he has been in this are for a long time
We live in Thomaston. It's pretty nice. It's relaxing to get out of the city. He is from NorthernUtah, Brigham city maybe. We actually live in a retirement community in a house. It's pretty big. It has an unfinished basement and an upstairs loft with a bathroom and then the main floor. the other elders are pretty cool. I got a picture with Karlee's brother but forgot my camera, I'll have to show you next week. Elder Post is in Powder Springs. The only thing I would request is if dad has any old ties he doesn't want I want them be cause my ties are getting boring. We are going to the temple on the 10th of this month.
(I had just thought on Saturday...I'm going to send Max some more ties and then I got this email. Yep, we were thinking the same thought). I love and miss my boy. Especially on pdays and when I see pictures. Max's friend Karlee has a brother that just came out to his mission (crazy huh). So they were able to get a picture together and I became friends with his mom on FB and we chat about our boys.
