This week was pretty busy. On Tuesday we had a zone conference that started out with us going to the temple. That was pretty cool and it was nice to finally see the inside of the Atlanta temple. Then on Wednesday one of the Spanish missionaries by us was sick so he stayed with my companion while I went out with the non sick one. I understand kind of enough Spanish to listen to what he was saying but I couldn't say anything. I did get to eat some good food though. Then on Wednesday as we were about to leave our apartment a screaming man yelled at us to go back inside. Then I heard a loud rush that sounded like wind. He had hit a gas line while digging a hole. They called the fire department and we had to get evacuated from our apartment. On Friday we had a huge rainstorm and there was water that was about up to my knees on some parts of the road it was crazy. Then on that same day the fire trucks returned to our apartment complex because somebody had lit our dumpster on fire. On Saturday we were finally able to go out to some good appointments. We taught Desmond the plan of salvation and he is still slowly progressing. We also found this less active lady named Laura that was not in the ward records but we have started teaching her all the lessons again and helping her become active. We also went and saw Pam and just watched some Mormon messages with her and she is still doing great. Then this Monday I found out that after six months I will finally be getting a new companion who will be fresh from the MTC so I will be training him. I'm doing great and things are going well here.

Hey mom. This week was not as exciting as last week. The Atlanta temple is good I guess, they just renovated it not too long ago. Its about 15 minutes from our house if we dont hit traffic. The elders in our apartment are the Vietnamese missionaries. My new companions name is Elder Galvao.
He's from Boston and got called to Brazil but is waiting on his visa. Being a trainer is alright, but its alot harder. I don't think we do anything for the 24th because nobody knows what it is here.

This week was pretty good. We have been going back and seeing Ed and we got a baptismal date with him for August 10. We also have been getting some new investigators this week. A lady named Dorsey yelled out her car window as we were walking to our apartment that we needed to come teach her and she told us her address. She has been taught by missionaries before but then moved so she wanted us to keep teacher her. We also met a guy while we were tracting named James Collins. Him and his wife have twin 13 year old girls and a 15 year old son. We left them with a Book of Mormon and they wanted to read it and come to church next week so we are very excited for them.Training a new missionary is a little bit harder than I thought it would be but it is going well and I'm learning a lot from doing it. Thats about it for this week.
