He's home! December 16, 2014

Words cannot describe the total excitement we felt going to pick up Max at the airport today.

The house is all decorated with signs and bows

The airport was packed because it was the week before Christmas.  We arrived early, but there was no where to park.  I couldn't stand it, I had Stephen just drop us at the curb and we ran in.  They had barriers set up we had to stand behind.  We slowly make our way up to the front as other families would leave.  I remember thinking there is no way I'm standing behind these barriers.  The whole family was there with signs and balloons and we couldn't take our eyes of the escalator.  Finally we saw him, he stopped and went somewhere to talk to someone and we were just going crazy waiting for him to finally come down.

The first hug is the best thing ever.

It was definitely one of the best days of my life.  I couldn't stop crying!  Max was a little shell shocked.

Hug for Grandma

Jack could not wait to see his big brother.

waiting, waiting, waiting

As soon as we saw him a big hooray went up from everyone.

I think everyone is a little overwhelmed
