| Thomaston Sisters and Elders |
Hey mom. Both the other elders in my apartment are leaving and they stayed up all night packing. (Everyone transferred and left Elder Schnell in Thomaston.)
For Christmas dinner we went to the Housemans, the people we borrowed the ipads from (to facetime on Christmas). We had ham and potatoes and rolls for dinner. They are going to be sad I'm leaving too. They signed up to feed me on my birthday.
The baptism went really good, except the water heater broke so the water was freezing. But it went ok.
Sounds like you had a good Christmas. Not too much excitement besides the baptism this week. That's cool Taylor got to give a Book of Mormon away (I sent Books of Mormon with our testimonies and picture to the missionaries to give away) . I'll think about who to give one too.
I'm not going to have time to write another letter because we have a lot of stuff to do today (he is transferring to another area). I'll talk to you next week about the new area. bye
My new area sounds pretty good. Elder Schnell served there at the beginning of his mission. A lot of Kimballs in the ward there, which will be fun. They are all cousins of Max Kimball who was a temple sealer in Atlanta for a long time. He lives a few wards away.
We are actually transferring tomorrow morning and there isn't a transfer meeting, we just go straight there. My new address is

I wasn't talking about going here, but now that I am it sounds good. My new companion is Elder Crawford, who i already know, and he's pretty cool. A big huge guy who has a full scholarship to play football somewhere in California. But he's like a big teddy bear, he's really cool.

Alright, I have to be pretty fast because I don't have a library card in my new area yet. I got my new companion on Tuesday his name is Elder Crawford. We already knew each other and get along great. I got here and there isn't a whole lot going on compared to Thomaston. So we are going to have to work hard to find some new investigators. It's a very rich area so that is pretty difficult. But I went to not eating dinner ever, to having a dinner every night, sometimes two, so that has been fun. There are really cool members here. That's about it for this week, hopefully more to report next week.

| Zone Conference |
This week was pretty alright. We got to go to the temple for zone training meeting which is always really great. Besides that the work is moving slowly here. There hasn't been a baptism in months in this area. Tracting is pretty much useless because everybody works or just doesn't want to talk to us. We did have a small miracle though that was good. There were some investigators that committed to come to church before Christmas, but they couldn't do it till last Sunday so that's what they set their goal for. We kind of forgot about it, but right before church started yesterday they just texted us and said they were almost there. They showed up without a reminder or anything. They really enjoyed it, and want to come back. Hopefully we can set them up with a baptismal date this week. Thats about it for this week. It's really cold here. Wasn't expecting that in Georgia.
Hey mom. Kennesaw is good. Most of our ward is actually in Acworth. Elder Crawford is super cool. Our apartment is nice but the only problem is the area we are in is so wealthy that the closest apartments are six miles out of our area so we burn a lot of miles just getting there everyday.
It has been really cold here. It snowed last pday and it's supposed to snow again on Wednesday. The weather all over the country has been super crazy.
Transfer was good. I still only have two suitcases, my backpack, and I put my bedding and stuff in my laundry bag and carried that.
We are in our own car, which is the first time I've had that my whole mission. I got the package a day late for some reason (bday package), but all the stuff was still good. I liked all of it. I also got a package from Mason's mom and the Amis's.I haven't met Max Kimball yet, but I'm working on it.
It was pretty much just a normal day on my birthday. Nothing too exciting. That's weird that you were married. (I told him I was already married at his age).
The members are really cool. Dinner every night and food given to us to take home. Gift cards for restaurants and stuff.
I do miss Thomaston .
Not sure what we are doing for pday today. Last week we played basketball. Thanks bye

Hello. Sorry not a whole lot to say about this week. We were without a car all week because our car was in the shop, so we were pretty limited on what we could do. A missionary a long time ago broke the bumper and we ended up having to fix it. We have been living with the other Elders while our car is getting fixed.
It's really hard to find new investigators here. We go tracting and rarely does someone open the door, and if they do they don't want to hear from us. Hopefully we get our car back this week and we can just start visiting members so we can get referrals from them. I think that's really going to be the only way to do it around here. We didn't get anybody to church this week because all our investigators are so busy. Sorry this is a short email but there's not a whole lot to say. Hopefully we have better luck next week.

Sounds like a hard area. Just do your best. We'll be praying for you! Have you met a lot of Kimballs?
Just the one's in my ward so far.

There's lots of big houses and nobody wants to talk to us. Our ward is like Utah. Half of our ward lives in the same neighborhood and we have two wards that meet in our building. We tract, but it doesn't work.
Elder Crawford is from Herriman and went to Riverton High.
